VIKING LOCKS IN DRILLER FOR LINKA TUNGSTEN MAIDEN
CAMPAIGN
• RC drilling services contract executed for Viking's maiden 63-hole drilling programme
at the Linka Tungsten Project, Nevada.
• Established US-based drill contractor DrilCor, preparing the rig for mobilisation, with
arrival on site anticipated late June 2026.
• Earthworks contractor engagement in final stages, with mobilisation planned ahead of
drill rig arrival to commence earthworks and drill pad preparation.
• 63-hole, 48-pad programme to deliver the first known sub-surface exploration at Linka
in more than 40 years across three priority target areas.
• Maiden drilling phase anticipated to take approximately six weeks, subject to ground
conditions, productivity and weather.
• Viking fully funded for the maiden drilling campaign, $4.7M cash at 31 March 20261
.
Viking Mines Limited (ASX: VKA, OTC: VKALF) ("Viking" or "the Company") is pleased to
advise it has executed a drilling services contract with DrilCor for the recently approved 63-hole
maiden Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling programme at the Linka Tungsten Project in Nevada,
USA.
The contract award follows the recent receipt of US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approval
for the maiden drilling campaign, with the appointment of DrilCor representing the final
operational milestone ahead of mobilisation. With permitting complete and the drilling
contractor now locked in, Viking's focus shifts to site preparation and rig mobilisation logistics.
Viking Mines Managing Director & CEO Julian Woodcock said:
"Locking in DrilCor is a significant step forward in our fast-to-market strategy at Linka. With
permitting complete and our drilling contractor now under contract, the team is squarely focused
on getting the rig to site and breaking ground on what will be the first known drill testing at Linka
in more than 40 years.
"The maiden campaign is designed to deliver across three distinct objectives, verifying historic
high-grade intercepts at Linka Main, maiden testing of the prospective southwest extension, and
regional reconnaissance across the broader claim package. Each target has the potential to
materially advance our understanding of the Linka mineralised system.
"With drilling scheduled to commence late in the June quarter and assay results from our recent
field campaigns expected over the coming months, Viking has a strong period of news flow ahead,
all underpinned by a fully-funded balance sheet."

and target down-dip continuity beneath historic workings.
• Linka SW Extension (16 holes): Two Maiden testing across four sections at 125–150m
spacing of the prospective ~800m southwest extension (Figure 1).
• Regional Reconnaissance (11 holes): Shallow vertical holes to validate magnetic and
gravity geophysical interpretations and define contact positions prospective for new
mineralised zones.
